Think Big about Small Meetings

small meetings

Recently we talked about Wide Open Spaces for those big scale meetings, but not all meetings are big. Some meetings are more intimate and more focused and smaller in scope.

Here are some venues that are perfect for small meetings:

Warwick Hotels: This worldwide chain offers several smaller hotels that offer a “harmonious hotel experience echoing the culture, history and charm of the destination at its doorstep.” Warwick Hotels can be found in Dallas, Denver, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and more.

Boutique Hotels are found in several cities. Some to check out are Andaz Napa, Hotel Belleclaire in New Your City, Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina in Rhode Island, Hotel Renew in Waikiki, Hotel Monaco in Chicago, Moonrise Hotel in St. Louis and Hotel Zetta in San Francisco.

Airport Hotels are ideal for those quick in-and-out type meetings. Take a look at the Aloft Denver International Airport, The Fairmont Vancouver Airport, Grand Hyatt DFW and Westin Detroit Metropolitan.

Conference Centers and Lodges are not out of reach for small meetings either. Some lovely offerings are Four Seasons Ranch in Santa Fe, Granlibakken in Tahoe, Lied Lodge in Nebraska City, Maumee Bay Lodge in Ohio, Purgatory Resort in Colorado, and Virginia Beach Resort.

Wherever your meeting may take you, you can always call on the local Visitors Bureaus to find some of the more interesting small venues for your meeting. Check out these pages for small spaces in Atlantic City, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Leigh Valley in Pennsylvania, Nashville, and Chicago.

Smaller groups are sure to feel more comfortable in these venues. And, by the way, be sure to think big about your buddy, Jill Stone, when it comes to smaller meetings. I am not only a wonderful resource for large-scale meetings, but also for those that require as little as 10 sleeping rooms. Call me today, 636-678-7661, and let’s think big about small meetings together!
